About MYUNGJIN
The company is the first venture business in Korea that researches and develops cosmetic additives and preservative for wet wipes. It has achieved technological changes by making standard substances for wet wipes’ preservative from CPC [Cetylpyridinium chloride] instead of CMIT, MIT and PHMB (G) that were kicked out due to humidifier incidents in 2011. It has been a leader in driving this trend to use CPC in most countries including Japan and China. Myungjin newtec holds a patent on a new material, LAE [ethyl-N(á)-dodecanoyl-l-arginate HCl], that substitutes for CPC.

freshBIO CLA is a preservative for wet wipes mainly based on food additives. CPC content is remarkably reduced to minimize foam and improve pop up issue, one of inconveniences using wet wipes that when a consumer removes one for use, the next one presents itself.
Characteristics of the product
1.Raw materials registered as food additives in KFDA were used.
2.Great effects on mold, yeast, anaerobic Gram-positive bacteria, etc.
3.Very little skin stimulation compared to conventional preservative (CMIT, IPBC).
freshBIO CLE is made of antiseptic wipes for optimum preservative system using the CPC and LAE food additives. CPC content is remarkably reduced to minimize foam and improve pop up issue, one of inconveniences using wet wipes that when a consumer removes one for use, the next one presents itself. Upgreaded freshBio is excellent for anti-bacterial effect than the previous one.
Characteristics of the product
1.Introduction of LAE has strengthened preservative capacity against bacterial titer [LAE: Ethyl lauroyl arginate HCl].
2.Adjustment and removal of CPC and CTAB contents have resolved problems caused in various processes and complete products.
3.Minimized use of defoaming agent by replacing Caprylyl glycol with Caprylyl glyceryl ether.
4.Compensated loss of preservative capacity by replacing Caprylyl glycol with Caprylyl glyceryl ether.
5.Improved problem of conventional products: discoloration.
A CPC-free product that can control a legal pathogen, Burkholderia, that accelerates decomposition in plants and can cause Cystic fibrosis if a human is infected. Also, it is known to have strong resistance against preservatives and explosive breeding capacity. With freshBIO NC10, Burkholderia can be perfectly controlled in wet wipe.
It lives in an extensive range of sites including water, soil, animals, plants, etc. and it grows very fast.
* As aerobic gram-negative bacteria, they have been classified as legal pathogen.
* They are known to have strong resistance against preservatives and create bio-films, which makes it difficult to control them.

What if preservatives are not contained in products? Products can be easily perished by various harmful bacteria caused by use. A little amount of preservatives in products help prevent contamination by germs. Our preservatives are “safe for human body and skin.” It doesn’t include harmless chemicals or toxic substances and consists of the raw materials registered in leave-on products of domestic standards (KFDA) and overseas standards (EC List,EPA and CTFA). We offer freshBIO series and Mtech series among the product family.
